Alt Text IQ: Image SEO

Privacy requests

Alt Text IQ supports Shopify privacy requirements for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction.

Request types

  • Customer data requests are recorded for review and response.
  • Customer redaction requests are recorded and applied to stored app data connected to the customer.
  • Shop redaction requests purge stored app data when Shopify requires shop-level deletion.

How requests are handled

Shopify sends these privacy requests to the app through its configured privacy compliance integration. The app authenticates the request before recording or applying redaction behavior.
